MATRiXiti PACStream enables diagnostic radiological images, such as X-rays, CTs (computerized tomograms), and MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Images) to be electronically transmitted quickly and securely within and outside the hospital boundaries, even in low bandwidth environments (dialup connectivity).
The image optimization technology of ABO TM enables more radiological images to be captured electronically and at higher compression ratios than what was possible with conventional solutions. This high compressibility translates into larger storage capacity for more radiological images, eliminating any requirement for additional investment on the existing network and storage infrastructure.
As image optimization makes the file sizes smaller, they can be quickly transmitted across geographical locations to where radiologists reside. More diagnostic reports can be generated by each radiologist who can download, view and diagnose at real-time from the comfort of their homes or remote clinics situated in rural outback, without having to confine to geography barriers.
