  Dr Yacoub Elziq
Chief Scientist & President US Office

Dr Elziq is an Electronic Design and Automation specialist with over 25 years of both industrial and academic experience. Currently Dr Elziq is the founder and President of Jimzu Technologies, a small SoC (System-on-Chip) Consulting & Services Design and
Test company. He has also been appointed as Sun Microsystem’s Staff Engineer focusing on the design and diagnosis of mid-range servers addressing software, firmware and hardware issues.

He was a founder and a member of the start-up companies XCAT and Vertex Incorporated. He also held various R&D engineering and management positions in computer design, ASIC, and SoC companies such as Honeywell, Toshiba, VLSI Technologies and Synopsys. In addition, Dr Elziq has also published research work in this area.

Dr Elziq obtained his PhD in Computer Engineering from Utah State University with a dissertation in “Synthesis and Testing of MOS Logic Designs”. He has published many papers in IEEE Computer Transactions and IEEE-sponsored conferences such as DAC (Design Automation Conference), ITC (International Test Conference), and ICCAD (International Conference on Computer Aided Design). He has also served as a Paper Reviewer and Session Chairman for these conferences and is currently a member of the IEEE TTTC (Test Technology Technical Council).
  V Sridhar B.E.(Hons) MBA
Chief Evangelist & President Healthcare

At MatrixView, Mr Sridhar oversees the propagation of ABO as a platform technology and heads the healthcare division. Mr Sridhar has 25 years of experience in the IT industry and held various senior
management positions in Multi-national blue chips and budding start-ups. He was CEO of XID Technologies, a high-technology start-up that won the World Technology Award from San Francisco in the area of Facial Biometrics. Prior to this role, he was Managing Partner of 8alpha Group formed to help SMEs with Relationship Capital, Intellectual Capital and advisory services for Venture Capital. Mr Sridhar was also a founding member of Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd, a company under Singapore government’s A*STAR (Agency for Science Technology and Research) to commercialize the research output of the country.

Mr Sridhar also worked for Siemens AG Group in Germany for over 18 years as Head of R&D, Director of Production and Sales Director for Nordic region before being promoted to General Manager/MD of the entire high-speed 1000 pages per minute Printer Division for Asia Pacific including Japan. He was also a member of a group chosen to advise the Board of Siemens. Sridhar has been deeply involved in the commercialization of patents and the financial markets, since his division produced over 3500 patents.

An Indian-born German citizen with an MBA from California State University, USA and a Mechanical Engineering degree from India, Mr Sridhar has vast international experience.

Aravind Vasu
Senior Vice President

Mr Vasu is an entrepreneurial business development professional with over 20 years experience and an extensive business network covering South East Asia, South Asia, UAE, UK and West Africa.
He was Business Development Consultant and Corporate Director for Business Focus Group, a Malaysian conglomerate. He has experience on projects related to Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions and Privatization of Government Assets in the financial services, Logistics & Warehousing, and Tourism sectors. As Sales Director in Horizon Education & Technologies, he managed a sales team of six staff and developed new products that grew sales revenue by over 10million USD in three years. He also played a key role in the successful listing of the Company on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Mr Vasu obtained an Associate MBA Programme in Strategic Management and Corporate Financial Strategy from the Open University, UK. He also has an MSc Quality Management from Cranfield University and BSc Economics from Manchester University, both based in UK.

Shivakumar Narayanan
Vice President, Research and Development

Mr Shivakumar has an extensive research background in image and video processing algorithms, error resilience and shape coding. He has also worked in the area of Cognitive Science and has worked on projects in the area of Cognitive Science and Applied Psychology during his tenure as research faculty associate in Arizona State University.

Mr Shivakumar’s interests include Image/Video Processing, Computer Vision, Cognitive Science and Human Recognition Technologies. His research background has led him to pursue projects in image and video processing algorithms, MPEG-4, error resilience and shape coding. He has experience on Matlab and other simulation tools from his research. In the surveillance industry, Mr Shivakumar gained experience in the development of a system for object tracking and recognition systems in a highly dynamic environment. His professional experience spans the entire development cycle starting with algorithmic design and architecture, to various testing methodologies like Black Box, White Box, Regression, Stress, Functional and Incremental Integration testing for meeting Quality Acceptance requirements in phased development environments. His other business interests include market study, requirements analysis, feasibility analysis, system analysis and strategic planning.

Mr Shivakumar has a Master of Science from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Arizona State University.

Dr. Krishnan Sivaji
Vice President – Projects and Implementation

An experimental physicist and expert in the field of positron annihilation, defects characterization, electronic structure and momentum distribution, Dr. Sivaji has over 20 years of experience in academics and research. Dr. Sivaji’s research work was the first-of-its-kind in India and one of only five such studies globally. Additionally, Dr. Sivaji has rare imaging expertise in nuclear medicine techniques and positron emission tomography (PET). His areas of interest include materials science, nuclear techniques in electronics and nuclear instrumentation. He is also the Co-founder of a pioneering teleradiology network and solutions provider in India.

Equally at home in the world of IT, Dr. Sivaji has in-depth expertise in areas including methods in data communications and networking, realtime multiparameter data acquisition systems, computational packages (numerical and imaging solutions) and microscopic imaging techniques.

Dr. Sivaji has been a participant in various international conferences and a guest of reputed laboratories as a collaborator in various research programs. He has also published extensively, including in 23 international and 15 national publications. Dr. Sivaji’s contributions in research have been acknowledged with various Best Researcher awards. He is also on the academics and research boards of leading universities.
Dr. Sivaji holds a Ph. D. from the University of Madras.

Ramkumar Ramamurthy

Last 3 years of his experience includes Digital Content Management systems, Digital Asset Management systems, DRM’s, Content distribution Digital Cinema, transcoding and syndication

As CTO of Adlabs Films Limited, he has handled Centralization of overall IT infrastructure in coordination with Reliance Communication. Implemented, centralized Digital Content distribution systems. Integrated the right technology platform for content distribution over internet (Streaming / Download)

As Head of Network Planning in Reliance Infocomm Limited, he was responsible for planning & execution of the CDMA mobile communications network for the state of Tamil Nadu

His past experience has been primarily with Telecom operators like, Escotel Mobile communications Ltd, Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited etc., He has been earlier involved in research & development of passive microwave components with VXL India Limited.

John Baby
Quality and Regulatory Expert

At MatrixView, Mr Baby is responsible for the management of medical projects and processes covering quality management systems and regulatory clearance.

Mr Baby has more than 10 years experience in project management, quality assurance, business and product development, technology management, design control and change management. He guided the R&D team in developing 2D/3D/4D image processing software as well as surgery planning and intra-operative guidance systems in compliance with international regulations, safety and quality standards.

Mr Baby received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from M.S University, India.
